For what might be the best chicken salad in Boston, look no further than Al’s State Street Café. With all small (10-inch) subs priced at $6 and all large subs $8, Al’s gives you bang for your buck. Suffolk kids: wander on down to the State Street location. Harvard students are in luck, too: Al’s newest café is in Harvard Square. Tip: order a large and save half for dinner.
