What’s the one thing you have to do when you visit Boston?
I like to stop at the Dunkin’ Donuts on both sides of the cloverleaf on Route 1.

We went to the same high school [Lincoln-Sudbury Regional], where our mascot was “the warrior,” which is totally lame. What would’ve been a good high-school mascot?
We should have been “The Puritans.” The cheerleaders would have been more interesting.

Your cat, Hep, has her own advice column on your web site and is clearly very cute and smart. Any plans to make her a star on YouTube?
Hep is flattered by your interest, but she’s a bit shy about performing. She says if they ever follow Dancing with the Stars with Hiding Behind a Chair with the Stars, she’d be a natural.

Would you rather fight a pit bull or a Republican?
I don’t like to fight, but I’d rather elect a pit bull and get bitten by a Republican, because I’d have a better shot at affordable health care.
