Comedy was once man’s domain. Saucy, irreverent, and sometimes outright filthy chicks like Sarah Silverman (not to mention Carol Burnett) broke that mold wide open and have made sure it stayed broken. The 2011 Women in Comedy Festival celebrates ladies who get laughs . . . and don’t give a damn how they get ’em. The fest will bring, among others, Kristen Schaal (of Flight of the Conchords hilarity) and Jen Kirkman (Chelsea Handler’s right-hand lady) to town, kicking off at Mottley's.
