The adventuresome drummer and composer Bobby Previte is best known in these parts for his small-ensemble performances. Tonight he joins forces with NYC’s So Percussion ensemble to present the Boston premiere of his Terminals Part 1: Departures, a piece inspired by all the time he’s spent in airports. The performance features an impressive line-up of soloists: keyboardist John Medeski, guitarist Elliott Sharp, harpist Zeena Parkins, singer Jen Shyu, and Previte himself on drums.
