So, what do young dancers look like before they hit the Boston Opera House stage? You might just find out at the first (annual?) Boston International Ballet Competition, which will bring together competitors from 23 countries, ages 13 to 25, in three rounds before offering a closing-night gala (May 16, 6 pm) with guests from Boston Ballet, New York City Ballet, and Dance Theatre of Harlem.
