Graphic Designer
El Planeta, the largest Spanish-language newspaper in the New England area, is looking for a graphic designer to join its advertising department. The candidate would mainly produce graphic art and visual materials for ads to be published in the newspaper, and also he/she would develop in-house promotions and marketing material. A great deal of creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail is required, as well as a strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines. Knowledge or fluency in Spanish is not needed, but it is a plus.

We are looking for a intern with basic technology skills to handle a variety of maintenance tasks to be performed on the systems supporting our personals ads business.
Examples of some of the things we will ask you to do:

Morning Show
Intern for The Swasey Show, Monday-Friday 6-10am on 101.7 Boston and 92.1 Manchester, NH. You'll get to work along side Mike Swasey and Henry Santoro. Our interns assist the DJ's in virtually every aspect of their show, including: taking requests, pulling spots, writing material for on-air use, research, news gathering, answering the listener line, taking contest winner information, booking guests, writing news and entertainment stories, doing voice production and bit writing (including comedy bits), and participating in audio editing and production. In addition, on-air interns have the opportunity to learn the WFNX format, 4-track production, and how the on-air studio works. Once interns acclimate themselves to the environment and get the hang of it, anything is possible. It can be a very fast-paced experience while having fun.
