Here's a quick-hit playlist from today's BOSTON ACCENTS. Aerosmith really took a lot out of me this morning in Allston, it was quite a day. I think it rubbed off on me, as we went a bit rocking in the early portion of the show. We'll be back in action tomorrow in a politics-free showcase of the best in New England rock + pop. Happy Aerosmith Day everybody.

PROTOKOLL “Moving Forward” -- Got this Allston mid-2000s post-punk band on my mind since clearly that Walk The Moon band ripped them off. Sayin'.

DIRTY VIRGINS “Straight To Hell” -- Going back to their Tapped Out record from earlier in 2012, the Virgz' released a new music video for the track today (linked + posted above). Their full-length is expected in February of next year.

MELLOW BRAVO “Ridin” -- Bravo crushed it at the Small Stone Records showcase this past weekend, filling in at the last second.

YOUNG ADULTS “Born In ‘91” -- New track from the Allston punk trio. Very few people in the crowd at Aerosmith today were born in 1991.
